In recent
times, large segments of Contemporary Christendom (over the past two decades,
especially), have become a major embarrassment to sober and serious minded
Christians, everywhere! A tragic observation is the widespread departure
from established norms and standards of Christian Faith and Practice.
I wish it to be clearly understood by all, that we hold no
resonance whatsoever, with such departures, nor do we wish to be in any manner
identified, nor associated with the same.
We are a Conservative,
Bible-Based Ministry. We wish it to be known that we unashamedly hold
to orthodox Christianity; and preach the Full-Gospel of our Lord Jesus
Christ. We believe the Apostles’ Doctrine to be: “…the Faith which was
once delivered unto the saints” (Jude 3). This Full-Gospel Message
is Fundamental, Conservative, and Unchanging; being the Faith which shall
safely convey the Church through this Age, all the way to the Appearing
of Our Lord (the Parousia).
By our Lord’s
grace, we embrace the blessed truths of Biblical Pentecost! We declare them
unflinchingly and un-apologetically, but under the stipulation that the
doctrines thereof, in both Faith and Practice, correspond with, and must
be firmly founded upon, the Scriptural precedent and pattern. “Let
all things be done decently and in order” (1 Corinthians ). “Charity (Love)…doth not behave itself unseemly”
(1 Corinthians 13:5).
We thusly present Jesus Christ, as:
SAVIOR:
HEALER:
BAPTIZER:
COMING-KING:
We have come to see the value of smaller Fellowships which
are conservative and understated. Certainly, we welcome our Lord’s presence,
and the moving of His blessed Holy Spirit, but over the years we have learned
that He is most pleased to abide and move, in a peaceful, orderly, environment,
where all the glory is ascribed only unto Himself, and not unto “man.” The Holy
Spirit feels most welcome in an atmosphere where all is done to the exaltation
of Christ, in a decent and orderly fashion, with sincerity and humility.
“Where the
Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty,” (not license!) (2 Corinthians
3:17).
We are to “worship the Lord in the Beauty of Holiness…”
(Psalm 96:9), and to: “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without
which no man shall see God” (Hebrews ). As humbly and sincerely as we know how, we pleadingly
implore our beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ, through-out the World,
to “stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the Old Paths, where
is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls”
(Jeremiah 6:16).
We embrace a normative, traditional
church-life, with an emphasis upon home, family, and community; presenting
that which is: conservative, conventional, classical, and not given to change.
“Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees…” (Matthew 16:6). (Leaven
is that ingredient which causes a chemical change in bread.) “The
leaven of the Pharisees…” is their injected doctrine and hypocrisy,
which causes the loaf to become vaunted, puffed up, and “full of hot
air.”
We emphasize exemplary Christian living, social responsibility,
Evangelism and Soul-Winning, as well as teaching and discipling Believers,
to establish them in the “Most Holy Faith.” Above all, we wish
to both embrace and express a clean and wholesome Christianity, with traditional
values, personal integrity, holiness of life, and dedication for service.
(I sincerely trust this to be an indicator of who we are! It is, in fact,
who we sincerely wish and hope to be.)
My
dear friends:
I
am so very thankful that you have found your way to our website. I sincerely hope that you have been helped by what you have
read, but if you have never accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior; if you have never repented of your sins; if you are unsure
of where you will spend Eternity; I humbly beg of you to not delay this most important matter. “How shall we escape,
if we neglect so great salvation…” (Hebrews 2:3). Because of my great love and concern for each one of you who visit
this website (and for all souls everywhere), I sincerely invite you to click on the link below, so that I may speak to your
heart and pray with you. I have promised our Lord Jesus that at the conclusion of any article I write, and every recording
and video, I would be faithful to extend an invitation to souls in need of the Lord. (I personally received Christ as Savior
at approximately eight and a half years of age, at the conclusion of a Gospel radio broadcast, when Pastor Bob Fraser of Philadelphia
extended this very kind of invitation.)
“Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His
glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen”
(Jude 24-25).
